FBI, an American TV series, has now come out with its Season 7 on Paramount Plus and Stack channel- its success is already reflected in the number of seasons. Like any other show, this can be watched with audio in over 15 languages and also with sub-titles for the same number. And, that is a lot of flexibility in watching shows irrespective of what language you speak. Here is my take on the series:
Storyline: FBI TV series is inspired by events happening on day to day basis everywhere. Lead actors Maggie Bell (Missy Peregrym) and Omar Adom (Zeeko Zaki) are perfect partners as Special Agents. The cases or situations have wide variety of topics. Message of the series is loud and clear- you will get caught if you do something bad or evil. Its a matter of time.
Screenplay, Editing. Costume and Location: Almost all the location are US based due to parameters and jurisdiction of FBI. However, some overseas locations are also there depending on the nature of incident. There is not much room for costume makeovers as the main actors are in uniform most of the time.
Acting: On the acting front, here is my take in the order starting my favorite best:
- Maggie Bell (Missy Peregrym) and Omar Adom (Zeeko Zaki)- Both ranked number 1 in my view;
- Jubal Valentine(Jeremy Sisto) ;
- John Boyd(Stuart Scola) and Katherine Kane(Tiffany Wallace) : Both equally good
Message / Feedback for Producer / Film-Maker: Its my hobby to say something from a different perspective. The best way to keep interest in the series is to keep improvising. In my view, there should be some change in the looks over time.
My point is viewers should be able to see the lighter and fun side of FBI agents as well. There could be some fun situations like birthday celebrations or other social activities.
And, bringing some new faces would be a good idea for the future Seasons. My suggestions are having few from the Canadian hit series Rookie Blue: Ben Bass, Charlotte Sullivan, Gregory Smith and Eric Johnson. And, Stephen Bishop from the TV series Imposters.
