Newly Rich Newly Poor (2025) is a Spanish TV series on Netflix. This series is a remake of the 2007 series with the same title and is available in 2 languages with Audio (Spanish and Portugese) and 2 languages in sub-titles (Englidh and Spanish).
Here is my take on the series:
Storyline: Newly Rich Newly Poor is a romatic comedy of two new born boys switched at birth and united with biological parents at 30 years of age. The comedy surrrounds the change of circumstances from rich to poor and poor to rich overnight.
Screenplay, Editing. Costume and Location: Series is spread over 62 episodes- well scripted and edited.
Acting: On the acting front, there is so much justice to each character and role. Lot of credit goes to Director and his team. However, the following are the top four from top of the ladder in my view:
- Lina Tejeiro (Rosmerry ) and Variel Sanchez( Brayan);
- Laura Gonzalez (Fernanda);
- Juan Manuel (Andres)
Message / Feedback /Review for Producers / Film-Makers: Newly Rich Newly Poor is nicely made with lots of comedy. There are few suggestions to make the series more popular and enhance the viewers:
– English Dubbing: There should be definitely an audio in English language as that would increase the viewers massive way particularly in South East countries like India.
– Split into Seasons: Right now, the whole series is clubbed as one Season of 62 episodes. From the audience points of view, it should be split into at least 4 seasons with each into 15 episodes on average. This provides the viewers flexibility to re-watch based on Season categories. The popularity of any series is judged by the watch and re-watch viewerships. And it is easier to remember the Season number out of four seasons Vs. the episode Numers spread over to 62. Of course, the Seasons be split by number of episodes according to the storyline.
Message / Feedback/ Review for Viewers: This is a well made romantic comedy series and preferably not suitable for audience younger than 16.
