The Glory is a Korean TV series on Netflix. This series is available in 19 languages with Audio and 33 languages in sub-titles- providing lot of flexibilities for viewers.
Here is my take on the series:
Storyline: The Glory is a TV series about evils and dire consequences of bullying. The Glory revolves around a victim of bullying during school years and bounce back of victim to seek revenge after a period of two decades.
There are five perpetrators and one primary victim. The story revolves around how victims come together to teach lesson to perpetrators. And, the story is expresed and picturised beautifully. Moral of the story is some exploitative and bullying actions take away so many lives.
Screenplay, Editing. Costume and Location: Series is spread over in 16 episodes- well scripted and edited.
Acting: On the acting front, there is so much justice to each character and role. Lot of credit goes to Director and his team. There is no easy way to list the actors in a vertical way in terms of acting ladder- each and every actor performed to the best. However, if I have to name the top two, it is very subjective but here thry are:
- Song Hye-kyo (Moon dong-eun);
- Lim Ji-yeaon (Park Yeon-jin)
Message / Feedback /Review for Producers / Film-Makers: The Glory is knitted perfectly well and nothing comes to mind to improve upon any aspect of the whole series.
Message / Feedback/ Review for Viewers: This is a beautifully made limited series for all viewers – however the message is to all parents and school going children on the evils of bullying in our society. This series deserve audience from all over the globe
