Jaane Jaan is a Bollywood movie on Netflix. Jaane Jaan story is about a spur of the moment crime against an abusive husband and the steps for hiding the crime. Viewers can watch Jaane Jaan with audio in 6 languages and also with sub-titles in 7 languages. Lot of flexibilities in watching shows irrespective of what language you speak.
Here is my take on the movie:
Storyline: Jaane Jaan story is about a single mother trying to save her daughter and herself from the abusive husband. Murder happens in a spur of the moment and a neighbour comes to help and save the situation. Mainly there are three characters in the film – Kareena Kappor Khan ( Sonia / Maya D’Souza ), Jaideep Ahlawat(Naren Hanish), Vijay Varma (Inspector Karan).
Jaane Jaan story is not very uncommon, however the execution is really good.
Screenplay, Editing. Costume and Location: Jaane Jaan is a powerful scripted movie and the location is just one city. So, there is not much budget needed except for the casts.
Acting: On the acting front, here is my take in the order starting my favorite best:
- Kareen Kapoor Khan(Sonia / Maya D’Souza);
- Vijay Varma (Inspector Karan) ;
- Jaideep Ahlawat (Naren Hanish)
- Sourabh Sachdeva (Ajit): Although negative character and short appearance, performance was good
Message / Feedback for Producer / Film-Maker: Great film, good message and well executed. Looks like the English translated name has been taken off for some reason. In my view, for any project meant for international audience, must have English translated name. If there is a similiar name issue, it could be called The Suspect X or something like that.
Message / Feedback for Viewers: Good subject and well executed. It is really good for viewers of all languages.
